Turn off warning tone after using valet key

Asked by ToneDeaf Oct 29, 2015 at 12:35 AM about the 2007 Nissan Murano SE AWD

Question type: General

My wife handed the valet key to the valet. When he returned the door opened
and the alarm went off. They got it off and she drove home with the valet key in
the ignition. Now when you unlock the drivers door with the fob, a constant
'warning' tone is on. The valet key is not in the ignition, the car is in Park.
Thoughts?

Feeling a bit silly now. Turns out the valet turned the headlights from auto to 'On'. The tone was for the headlights. Turned them back to auto and the tone goes away. Do-oh!
