Air Intake Boot Cover

Asked by Guru9FGDSV Dec 29, 2022 at 01:01 AM about the 2007 Nissan Murano SL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I discovered I have a tear in my air intake boot cover.  Is it okay to replace with
an aftermarket air intake cover, or should I buy an OEM ala MSA sensor?

That boot cover is just a nozzle. As long as it fits with no air leaks, anything will be fine. I've made my own out of flexible plastic sheeting. If you don't know mechanics, buy OEM and get peace of mind from that.
