2006 buick lucerne no start

I have a 2006 buick lucerne that I bought from an auction.  
The car will not start.  When I put the key in the ignition,
nothing will light up and it makes no sound when I try to
start.  I was able to jump the car off easily and drove it for
about 30 miles with no issues.  When I cut the car off, it
was silent again and would not restart.  It appears to have
a new battery and no signs of corrosion anywhere.  I also
checked all of the fuses in the back seat.  Can anyone
help?
