Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm getting oil to my lifters but my oil pressure in
almost bottoming out should my oil pressure be on
and if I run a manual gauge think it would fix it I
want to believe it's the gauge

You should have like 20 lbs oil pressure at an idle, and 40 cruising down the highway. To verify the oil pressure use a mechanical gauge for checking at the oil pressure sending unit port. Either the oil pressure sending unit is bad or the main bearings and bearings threw out the engine would be worn.
