Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 saturn sc1. Died on my way
home and coasted to a stop. No smoke, no
overheating, no noises. No indecation that
anything was wrong just died. It would not
start back up. I noticed the radio would not
come on until after it died. I have checked all
fuses i tested the battery. Replaced the
starter. Im thinking its either the ignition or
the pcm. I also checked the grounding. Any
suggestions.

These cars don't have timing belts they have timing chains and if that goes out you're going to know it it won't just roll to a stop. It could be anything from your spark plugs, spark plug wires, an ignition related to fuel delivery related problem. Also could be your body control module too there's a lot of different things the body control module controls the security system and it could have failed? I'd say take it somewhere and get it diagnosed.
