Is there an internal thermostat in my car.  Dealer states it's not operating correctly.  Not reading the correct temperature.

Hello, Yes, there is a thermostat on your car. Having an engine running at the wrong temperature can cause overheating, stalling, and other problems. In this case, listen to the dealer and have it fixed =) Best of luck! CarGrrl

Confirm this with some else. Any mechanic can change this item cheaper. Of you have AAA some offer a discount. And please make sure the coolant is not older than 3-4 years. Replace it for full protection. Best of luck.
