have a hissing sound in my intake fuel rail, my jeep won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 95 3.8 Camaro motor.  I have replaced fuel pump, it ran for a week now it won't start and with the key turned on, it's making a hissing sound from the intake.  I can't pinpoint exactly where it's coming from.  Gas tank cleaned.  Brand new fuel pump and tower with screen..any advice or ideas why it won't start????

your best bet is to change the fuel rail for a replacement one from a salvage yard, new fuel pumps and cleaned tanks will not solve this problem, chances are a seal in the rail has perished or the rail has cracked

@gearheadRHINO, why would he want to change the fuel rail if it is not leaking? Some of your answers are just plain stupid.
