left side fuel pump for jaguar s type 2000,V8

how do i buy fuel pump that is in the driver;s rear side. Bought an assembly
from an auto part store and it fitted the passenger side fuel pump but cant
find the one for the driver sidone.pls help

Ok, let's make sure we are talking about the same parts and assemblies. On the right rear or passenger side, under the rear seat cushion is the location of the fuel pump assembly. On the left rear or driver side is the location of the fuel tank jet or transfer pump unit. Which pumps fuel from one side of the tank to the other. So the question I have for you, is when you replaced the fuel tank jet transfer pump sending unit, did the assembly match to what you removed? I suspect you might have replaced the wrong assembly. Most auto part stores don't necessarily stock the trans pumps, but have the fuel pump assemblies. If you did replace the correct part, then just buy a fuel pump assembly for the left rear. HTH's
