Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My van increases idle at random and in order
to stop it I have to apply breaks. It will return
to driving normal but has happened twice
about a week apart. Driving feels unsafe/
does anyone have an idea? Heard it may be
sensor but which one?

If the idle speed increases while braking. (Braking causes the idle speed to increase.) You probably have a vacuum leak in the brake booster. This leak allows extra air into the intake manifold, making it idle faster. Have is checked out, especially if it's not feeling safe to drive.
