Found claylike rock coming out of radiator hose

This is what i found coming out of radiator hose
when it bust open what is it and how did that get in
there can anyone help

It is crystalized silica from not maintaining you cooling system.

Possible residue from some sort of radiator additive crap. I would flush the system out and maybe install a new radiator.
