radio lockout

my car was put in the shop a little over a year ago,,,,and it came out to the radio not working ,,recently ive been told that its a lock out due to the battery being disconnected,,,instructed to look in the manual for the code ,,im not finding it

Does your radio power up AT ALL, or does it say something like ERR or CODE?

There is no lock on this radio, it is a software issue with the control head. Try disconnecting the battery and hook up after 5 minutes. This might help you. If it doesn't work first time try it a couple of times. Good luck.
