Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi
Just before travelling with my 2006 Toyota land cruiser
4.2, I changed the atf with a flushing machine.  I used type
T IV. After driving approximately 200 kms, the gearbox
started operating in a weird manner. It would change
gears with a knock, sometimes it felt as it was engaged in
neutral.
Soon it just stopped working and was completely in
neutral. I had to be towed home.
After some research I realized that I used the wrong atf. I
was supposed to use WS.
I drained the atf and put in the WS, but no results. The car
can only reverse, but wont move forward.
Can anyone please tell me what I can do to fix it?
Thanks

Automatic or manual transmission? If it is an automaitic, sounds like the transmission is in need of repair and that will require a specialist.
