Question type: General

Can I put my 94 tbi in my 97 Tahoe that has
a 5.7 vortec

My 5.7 vortec has cracked head. I'm just kinda worried about putting a top end on it after it got some coolant in the oil. It does have a little over 250 K miles on that motor. I do have a 94 throttle body motor in my old beater. Now frame is broke on that truck. It would be great if I could use that motor somehow to get my Tahoe running again. If it doesn't cost a fortune lol. Any thoughts or info is greatly appreciated

What about putting a 5.3 in it? I could get the harness and computer out of the other truck. Would it be costly other than the motor and things.

My brother has a truck that's parked with the good 5.3. I was jw how expensive it would be to change the Tahoe over
