I know from first hand experience that the LT1, which was a Corvette engine from 1992-1996 was also factory equipment in the Cadillac Fleetwood, Chevy Impala SS, Buick Roadmaster, etc., but they were not as high performance and didn't have aluminun heads for example. So you still have an advantage. ; )

Why would that bother you? None of these other vehicles can perform like the Corvette. They are completely different cars. Hell, I can build an engine much more powerful then yours and put it into a full size van but so what? We drive Corvettes. A Buick Roadmaster is a poor subtitute for a Corvette no matter what is under the hood. (They don't sing songs about Roadmasters)
