Asked by Marie082213 Dec 14, 2018 at 09:26 AM about the 2007 Dodge Nitro R/T 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My tire blew out last night after driving 19 hrs to florida,
after pulling off highway and shutting car off i was stsnding
in front and noticed antifreeze running out on passenger
side. The car was off for a good 5 min what could this be?
Im still a hour from my destination?

My guess is the coolant system was recently overfilled. Heat causes the coolant to expand and overflow.
