Lucas for transmission

Asked by Guru911H5N Dec 24, 2021 at 08:41 AM about the 2007 Ford Edge SEL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

just bought 2007 ford edge, ran great on the way home. Decided to add some
gas treatment and Lucas in the transmission. Now it vibrates at 3 to forth or 4
to 5 gear and RPM in just some gears then run fine after all shifts are done.
Should I drain or maybe some gunk is stuck and will work its way out.

You probably gummed up your tranny with that stuff . Drop the pan and replace fluid and filter and keep a close eye on what comes out and were it goes .. FYI . There is no mechanic in a can .
