2007 Lincoln MKX Passenger airbag

Asked by bmarie23 Apr 13, 2015 at 04:53 PM about the 2007 Lincoln MKX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello,
i just got a 2007 lincoln mkx and the airbag
light on my dash is on. I also noticed when
sitting in the passenger seat the pass
airbag light stayed on (airbag off) so im
guessing its the sensor. I was wondering if
anyone knew a way to bypass the sensor
and keep the bag on at all times. I read all
through the manual with no answers.
Thanks

Don't by-pass any sensors regarding air-bags. The need to be fixed to do what they were designed to do. If you bought from a dealer, take it back and demand, firm and polite, it be fixed, they sold you a car with a safety defect.
