my jeep commander over heated and will not start, will it start back after it cools or could it be a cracked head?

You or anybody else won't know if it starts later. The head could be cracked. The head gasket could be bad. There could be nothing wrong.

If u do a head job will it cause pressure on the bottom end causing oil pump failure and engine noise
