You can save yourself the trouble of having to pluck out fuses to visually inspect them by getting one of those mini-ATM or maxi-ATM fuse kits at any parts store, the kits contain a handy fuse tester that has two probes that touch the two metal spots on the tops of all fuses and will light up if it's good. You can check all the fuses in a couple minutes and saves you the frustration of wrangling out those little bastards.
