BOUGHT THIS FROM UNIQUE AUTOS IN MANKATO ORIGINAL OWNER
WITH 21130 MILES FOR 19000 OWNER DID NOT DRIVE SINCE 2017 I GOT
IT HOME AND NOTICED A LEAK AND SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME
ON CHEVY DEALER SAID WATER PUMP WAS BAD AND NEEDED A NEW
CATYLITC CONVERTER WITH O2 SENSOR REPLACED  AND COST IS NOT
THE ISSUE AS I WANT TO KEEP AS ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE TO KEEP
VALUE UP . IS THIS COMMON FOR THESE TO GO BAD BY NOT BEEN
DRIVEN

The water pump and downstream oxygen sensor yes. The catalytic converter, no. I'd let them replace the water pump and see if the check engine light and trouble codes go away on their own after driving it for a bit. When I'd let my 93 Caprice sit for several months it would sometimes throw an oxygen sensor trouble code that would go away on its own after I drove it for a few days. Hope that helps! Jim
