Probably a blown headgasket.

Ya either a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head

White smoke is never good when you see a lot of it out the tailpipe, it usually an indication of a serious engine problem like a blown headgasket or cracked cylinder head, if your into DIY your local parts store has the kit to check for blown headgaskets, just follow the directions to get your results, if it is a fail and you do have to tear it down, make sure the heads are checked and if they are good have them milled flat and the block throughly cleaned so you get a good seal when it goes back together.
