i am buying a t6 with 95000 miles year 2000 for 7500.00 and i think it has most options. i was offered an 2001 with 66000 miles executive edition for 10500 and opted for the 7500 one. was wondering if i made the best decision on value. i also could have got one with higher miles and it be an 2003 for 9500 and opted out/. the 7500 car was single owner and was serviced at dealer. im worried about two things-cost ofrepairs and if anyone knew of any volvo specialists in my area of pennsylvania 19087-wayne pa 10 miles from philade;lphia.
i really wanted the executive but read that it is overpriced/back seats dont go down/and there is no leg room but i liked the refrigerator and dvd and was thinking who might customize volvos. as i would like a refrig./mounting lab top or computer in where dvd player would be/basically fixing it up and need to know who customizes these cars. thanks my email is fkbts@yahoo.com

I believe you got a good deal. The extra $3000 for the newer vehicle, even with lower miles, is likely not warranted given Volvo's notable reliabity. A Google search or checking in the phone book should find a good number of Volvo dealers/specialists in the Philly/New Jersey area. You can choose from which one you feel most comfortable with as selecting a mechanic is a very personal decision based not only on reputation, but on how you interact with the service manager/etc. Any good customization shop should be able to help you out with the other accessories. I am not far from you in York, PA but around here most of the custom shops have closed their doors as the economy has slid a bit in this area.
