MAF, TPS, or O2 Sensor

Test spark plugs & Plug wire. Air filter dirty can also set a MAF code along with dirty throttle body and IACV or similar VW may call it something else but Idle air control, Check for vacuum leaks, make sure all other electrical connections are good and check all fuses under dash & hood.

Hers is a list of causes for MAF code below.

- Dirty, obstructed or faulty mass air flow sensor (MAF) - Cracked, ripped or disconnected intake boot (snorkel) - Vacuum leaks (from stuck open PCV valve, leaking intake gaskets, etc.) - Clogged up or improperly installed air filter - The mass air flow sensor element contaminated by excess oil from an oil-soaked air filter - Clogged-up catalytic converter or restricted exhaust Other possible causes include: - Dirty throttle body - Bad or dirty manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP) - Electrical problems with the MAF sensor connector or wiring - Stuck open EGR valve - Incorrect valve timing - faulty engine computer (ECM

All the above either needs tested, cleaned and re tested and/or replaced if bad. do not throw parts at it, learn all test or cleaning procedures first and do so if its good then continue on to the main issue and if its a cat this will or should be the last to replace as it runs good until warm which can also be a symptom of a bad cat but test all other first.

So i replaced the o2 sensor, and the car seems to be running better. But it still, on occasion, idle funny whenever im in park or when i come to a stop. Also, there seems to be a lag in the transmission, because the car feels like its being pushed back. Not sure if its the transmission or not. Its now reading 2 transmission codes, as to where before it was reading 2 tran codes, along with the maf and o2 codes. The check engine light is still on

Also, these cars are known for their bad electronic throttle module (throttle body)
