When ever I get into my car, my eyes become heavy, and almost tear up. This happens whether the air vent is on or off, heat or cold. How can i fix this?

Might you be experiencing carbon monoxide poisoning, exhaust fumes? They make carbon monoxide (CO) detectors for use in houses with leaky furnaces. Check your exhaust system maybe. I'm curious.

Sounds like it too me (fumes).

check for a leaky heater core too. Is there a thin film on the windshield?
