rem wire for acc wire or power wire?

can i use extra rem wire for the link
from the battery to my car stereo
seeing as i wasnt supplied with
enough when i ordered it? my wires
for power and such are miscolored n
not labeled bit i know which is my
acc connection but need to run
power to my new deck.

You would have to see how many amps the new deck draws. It should be in the instruction booklet. They should also tell you the size fuse and the size wire to use.

it just says the voltage (12v) and ots a 10a fuse. it looks like an 18 guage wire. i have 16g speaker wire right now. would that work for the power n ground wires?

That would work for the power wire You can twist the two speaker wires together and double the capacity. . You don't need a long wire for ground. Run a short piece of wire to a screw in the metal body. Put it under a washer and use some dielectric grease or vasoline to keep it from corroding.
