1991 volvo 240 will not start but turns over

I'm used to fuses coming loose my daughter at 12 now graduated from college was the fuse queen. However up behind that against the wall where your brake is are a series of contacts they are curled and around a flat contact and that was barely attached I bought her an eraser and she pushed it back in place. Tight spot but had the same problems
