Turn signal fuse keeps blowing and driver side brake light and back up light are out, bulbs changed.

Asked by mikesensei Aug 21, 2014 at 03:58 PM about the 1991 Volvo 240 Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What do I do about these problems?  Signal fuse works and then doesn't (blows).  Othe
problems just started.  Thanks, Mike

Yes, and with the help of a friend we think the problem is in the switch of the turn signal. That will take some effort to correct. But we have no other ideas into what can be wrong as new fuses can make the turn signal work, but soon signal stops as the fuses blow. This also effects the brake light on the driver's side, not on the other side. Ground problems may also exist, but we are still looking. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
