TOday i put 7 quarts oil of automatic transmission fluid in my chevrolet malibu ls 1998 3.1 and i change the filter my question plz is 7 qiarts is right or no

Did you check the dipstick while it was running?

How did u fill it? If it was a cap on the trans then its probably similar to the 4cyl trans. Let me know if this link doesn't work for you. http://www.cargurus.com/ Cars/Discussion-t2254_ds476437#msg110380

only a fill and drain bolt.. i detest the new way! grr! the engine must be running and you need to climb under to loosen the fill bolt to check! if u checked with the engine off.. you can loose the fluid. terrible! my new camaro is similar. *dislike*
