I have a 1999 Chevy tracker it turns over but don't start

Could be many possibilities but the first that comes to mind is air/ fuel delivery. Is the fuel pump working? Is the air filter so dirty that not enough air is coming through; same for fuel filter. Also check for spark although each spark plug has it's own coil so this is unlikely.
