the turbo in my 02 vw tdi beetle stopped working after i hit a large pothole. could this be a limp-mode? what can i try to fix this?

i hit a pothole quite hard and my car would only go 5k/hr rite after and was
nearly stalling until a few hrs passed and i was able to drive it again but
without the turbo. its been weeks and its still not the same and ive looked at
and replaced some airlines and checked over all of the obvious things but still
cant make turbo work. i need to know how t fix this please! any ideas?

Most likely the air hose or air cooler has a leak and some of the charged air is escaping. Turbos are driven by exhaust gases some if you have no exhaust or charged air leaks, your turbo then has an internal problem or check waste gate
