On my 2001 VW BEETLE,when I replace the door lock module, how do I get it programed?

I AM REPLACING THE DOOR MODULE AND KEYS REMOTES WITH AN AFTER MARKET MODULE AND REMOTE , WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET IT PROGRAMED?

Are you talking about the door latch mechanism or the comfort control module?
