foul sounding alarm when door is shut

Every week or two when I get out and shut the door an alarm goes off, system is not armed, just by shutting the door. It sounds low and muffled, not like when it is armed and I open the door. Also when I hit the remote lock, the system comes on but the doors do not lock. When this happens I have to jump the car or charge the battery. Battery and charging system both test good. After shut down of the engine the fan runs for 5 to 8 minutes and shuts off, I believe this is normal and I have watched the volts for quite a while and cannot see any voltage drop from a drawdown. I am reaching out for some help. Does anyone have any ideas?
