1998 new beetle diesel, while driving glow plug will come on and engine will hesitate (bucking the car) then continue running. Happens maybe once a day

Blower for heat and AC will not come on, fuse is good, switch moves as it should

as for question one that means you have a failing glow plug replace them especially if you have more then 90 k on them. as for 2. Well your looking at a new blower motor and that requires them to tear out your dash and that's a big job
