Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What type of oil is best for my cabrio with 100,000 mi. in hot hot Arizona?

Also, what is the ratio for antifreeze/water?  I heard you could mess up the catylitic convertor is you don't mix it correctly.   Thanks.

i would probably use valvoline max life 10w30 and 50/50 mixture would be fine and as far as messing up the cat what the hell kind of hack you been talking to a dealership?

it doesn't matter in arizona because its never gonna get cold enought to matter anyway besides once they heat up there both a 30 weight anyway thats the beauty of a multiviscosity oil 10w30 will do it some good since at a hundred thousand tolerences in the bottom end and else where aren't what they quite used to be
