Yes. Or pump it out by activating the fuel pump just be sure NOT to let it continue to run after its pumped all the fuel, it will overheat and burn up very quickly without fuel. Modern gas has a short shelf life (upwards of 6 months) and because its oxygenated fuel stabilizers aren't as affective as they used to be.

You also need to check all of your hoses and seals. You probably have E-90 or worse, E-85 gas in the tank. Alcohol will attack the seals in some older vehicles. Rust will also be an issue as your fuel system is a vented system. Alcohol absorbs water. Unless you live in Colorado, Nevada or other places where the humidity is very low, the ethanol will bring water into the system (the reason why the FAA banned it from aviation fuel). you could have rust inside your fuel tank or cylinders. The latter is less likely. Good Luck!
