Why did my car smoke white?

I started my car yesterday and it smoked white for
about 15 minutes and then I got home after work
today and backed it out the garage and no more
smoke do y’all know why it smoked

If the car had been sitting for a long time the smoke might have been from condensation rather than a head gasket leak. Monitor the coolant level.
