Why wont car start after changing fuel pump

I just had fuel pump replaced it drove for a while I
had it in park while running and it puttered and cut
off now it won't start at all it turns over just won't
start. 1988Honda civic

Spray some quick start in the throttle body and see if it starts for a bit, if it does, it's fuel related issue or bad crankshaft sensor. Check fuel pressure. If it doesn't, check for spark at the spark plugs
Was the work done at a shop? Call them and tell them the car died while driving and seems like it is fuel-starved. (Remind them they were the ones who changed the fuel pump.) They may offer to tow your car back to the shop and fix it at their cost (if it was their mistake) or at a reduced cost if it was some related but unfixed problem.
