Hey my car just got new manifold, converter, head gasket and now it wont start. It sounds like it wants to but its just not getting there. The mechanic is trying charge me 375 for a fuel pump but he doesn't even know if that is the issue. They have been a pain!

he needs to check to see if there is pressure at the rails, I can't believe he doesn't know how to do that??????

He needs to recheck the timing marks, and you need to invest in a mechanics bible. A haynes guide or a chiltons manual on your year model of honda. It will give you advice on how to find a better mechanic
