Mercedes suspension conversion

Asked by Michelle Oct 21, 2020 at 03:45 PM about the 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS 500

Question type: General

2006 CLS 500 with 88k miles
     3 Questions:
1)  will converting the airmatic to spring
devalue the car later ?

2).  Can only the rear struts be converted or
do all 4 have to be done

3).  And suggestions on kits to consider ?

Thank you

I converted my SL500. Traded it in to a dealer. No apparent value problem.

There is little value in a 14 year old MB to lose. Do whatever works for you.

Odds are the question was asked because the air system has failed. The cost to repair it is probably too high to justify given the cars value.
