1999 Mercedes SL500 convertible

I just found a 99 SL500 in one of my dad's garages
it has 9,851 miles on it , tarted up no problem runs great
tires a little flat from sitting for 5 yrs
Only have a valet key for it and the top wont go down
is it because its a valet key and not master

Nice find. You should be able to get the correct key through a MB dealer if you can provide proof of ownership.
