I have a 2005 cdi and I regularly get 27 in town and 32 on the highway. I live in Albuquerque, and we don't have the same stop and go as many cities/states so I don't know what the difference would be but I am very pleased!!!
You should get 26 to 28 in the city and 36 to 38 highway. Average should be in the low 30's. Good luck. Great car.
