Steady theft system light

I bought a malibu 2000,I drive it home, the next day
the car crank but don't start, if it was out of gas,I
use starting fluid and start, but go off few seconds
after. ..I tried the 10 minutes but won't start, please
anyone can help me. ...

Check your fuel pressure at the rail. Change you fuel filter. It could be a bad fuel pump or a leaking injector
