Convertible top retracts slowly

2005 CLK 320 convertible . Top retracts very slowly stops periodically must re-
engage switch. Makes a very high pitch noise during operation. Looking to
diagnose the problem and find a  reputable shop to repair.

Only a guess, but could be as simple as low hydraulic fluid. It can be checked. If that's OK, you'll need a professional diagnosis from a good BOSCH shop or (gasp) the dealer.
