2001 convertible clk 430 roof problem

i have a 2001 clk 430 convertible that the roof wont come down. When i drive
over a bump, all of my windows go down and the contivertible switch starts
flashing/ Why is this happening? how do i fix it

I'm going with defective switch. Have a MB mechanic or Bosch shop diagnose. Hopefully simple replacement.
