have clk convertible , roof has not locked shut properly

roof not locked into closed position properly , can see daylight and locking hook through rear of roof , switches will not operate roof or open boot ,

My first thought would be to check the fuse(s) for the power top and see if they need replacing, since you said switch not operating at all. Aside from that, check for something that might possibly obstructing the opening/closing of the roof. I have a power hardtop (not MB or a CLK)...but I find myself checking the car when the top is down and a tree is nearby..lol. Good Luck!
