05 C230 not starting

My 05 C230 Kompressor will not start, new battery, good fuses but when I try
to start it starts then a second later it dies then on restart starter will not
engage , no click nothing

I read the codes I had a throttle positioning error, removed and cleaned. Cleared code all good. But the car still will not start, turn key nothing?? Now what?
