what causes a crank no start condition?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Chasing P301 code, replace plugs.valve gasket, disconnect fuel rail clean
injectors. No CEL with ignition in on position

Check your fuel pressure next. Also a P0301 codes is a cylinder #1 misfire code. If you replace the spark plugs, swap the ignition coils from #1 to #2 and see if the code move, P0302. Then you know that coil is faulty.

No CEL with the ignition in the run position and the engine not running is most likely a PCM failure. The bulb might be burned out too so check that before you condemn the PCM. Hope that helps! Jim
