Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought this car and then realized the heater and the air conditioner wont work, the fans work and I put coolant in, but still not working, Can this be a thermostat problem?

If there's no leaks when you added coolant and no excessive exhaust smoke, then its likely the thermostat stuck open. Replacing it will help you heat issue. The AC however, probably has a leak and will need service at a shop to seal it before doing a recharge.
