Why is my oil pressure at zero and my engine squealing when I have oil

Asked by Helpmme Aug 07, 2019 at 02:21 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Chevy blazer is acting funny. When I go to give
it gas my oil pressure drops and it starts squealing
it sounds like a belt is loose when it does it and it
starts to knock what does that mean

I also keep it full of oil regularly

Low oil pressure will ruin your engine. The knock probably means it is time for a new engine. Do not drive it until this is resolved.
