Do I need to change pcm

I'd discourage putting an older engine into a newer car, it brings electrical incompatibilities with it, and gives car computers fits. That's likely your principle problem. But even replacing with a newer engine you still have problems and might have to bring the engine's computer with it.

2005 4.7 is a 1 year only motor. I've seen different counts on tone wheel for cam and crank sensors. If the counts are wrong to the computer it won't spark or inject fuel. The wiring is different so changing computers won't work. You need the right year motor.
